Important note on foam thickness: We never charge extra for 8mm foam — it is our standard specification (not 6mm). If you choose to upgrade to 20mm foam, this does incur an additional cost.

The condition and type of your existing deck surface significantly affects installation complexity and time. A smooth fibreglass deck is the most straightforward. Non-skid moulded surfaces require additional preparation using specific chemicals, primers and techniques to achieve a strong, long-lasting bond.

Measurement Method
At SeaFoam we use an EinScan Libre 3D laser scanner to capture precise measurements of your deck. This ensures a perfect fit and is part of the professional service we provide. Installers who still use cardboard templates or manual measuring may quote lower upfront, but the fitting quality and long-term performance rarely match what a properly scanned and CNC-cut deck achieves.
Travel and Logistics
We're based on the Sunshine Coast and service the broader Queensland region. For jobs requiring significant travel, a travel component may apply and will be clearly stated in your quote.
If materials are out of stock and need to be specially ordered and shipped (for example by express courier such as FedEx), this can significantly increase the cost. We will always discuss these options with you upfront.

The condition of your deck can have a big impact. A clean, smooth surface is quickest to work with. If the deck is dirty, oily or requires extra cleaning and preparation, this adds time to the installation and can increase the overall cost.
